I am looking for a way to read the value of the Sleep timer: Disabled, 10 min, 1 min, etc. It would be best to do this in a Shell Script, but any clues might help me. That's OK, if I can compile versions for Mode 2 and Mode 3. Would the code work with the new function if it looped through each of the index values?

OK, I think it can't be assigned to the V- key for any mode. If it can, then that would be perfect. If it cannot, then another way to help would be to recompile two versions to use RCU Mode 2 and 3. It looks like the current code does not specify a key to use: only a remote mode. I wish I could find some way to reassign the power key. Even TMSMacro does not seem to send it.

In Australia, here. Have you considered a version with a key that the user can select? Both the 5000 and MP codes interfere with my other equipment. I would really like to be able to select an unused key from my current 2460 remote (the 501) and use it as the discrete ON button.

I have another question: by "complete rescan," you don't mean the native rescan of my tuner, do you? I am assuming you mean resynchronising the channel list.

Any idea what caused the .eit corruption? I am guessing it will happen again.
