I did consider the pre/post padding programmes when designing INFplus. Firstly, the first full recording is highlighted by default and secondly the pre/post programmes are displayed in a different colour.

• Ability to hide the thumbnail images.

• Convert HTML entities (eg: "&", "é", etc) contained within programme descriptions into characters.

Back on 16 April, there was as discussion about adding some features to INFplus to help with integration with SmartEPG.

Since SmartEPG has how been updated to operate with INFplus, are these proposed new features still necessary?

1. Copying INFplus information into the normal INF file.
2. Providing an alternate activation key.

I thought yes, because the INFplus information gets lost if you copy a recording to an external disk if you don't use this feature. Or did I understand something wrong?

If you use the "Prepare for Archive" / "Archivieren vorb." feature and copy a recording onto external media, when you play the recording from the external media, INFplus will be able to find the data. This feature has existed since version 1.0.

I think that the problem regarding the normal INF is that the PVR does not always save the details for the programme that you want into the INF and some data was getting lost when using MovieCutter.

The idea was to select one of the programme EPG details from INFplus so that when a recording is cut with MovieCutter, the INF will have the EPG data you want because a recording is no longer compatible with INFplus once it has been cut.

Since I can use INFPlus with SmartEPG, i found a liitle fault.
In the picture you can see, that sometimes a letter will be swallowed

From your signature line, it looks like you are using version "1.1 Alpha 8". The display problem that you describe was fixed in release version "1.1" (no suffix). Try upgrading from my web site or TAPtoDate.

There is still a minor display problem with v1.1, but at least the letters should not be missing.

I had already updated, but on a mistake INFPlus 1.1 was not in Autostart and therefore INFPlus 1.1 Alpha 8 was not deleted.

Now I have INFPlus 1.1 in Autostart and all is working well.

URGENT UPDATE

If a programme description contains a single '&' the PVR will crash with v1.1 when trying to display INFplus information.

I have just released an emergency update to INFplus via TAPtoDate and my web site, please upgrade to v1.1a as soon as possible.

Naturally, months of testing did not uncover this bug. However, only 2 days after releasing v1.1 to the public, I just happened to record a programme that just happened to have the correct character sequence that just happens to crash the PVR.

Ich hab vorgestern das UpDate installiert und dabei auch gleich TMS-A und S-EPG aktualisiert.

Wenn ich nun in S-EPG beim Aufruf der Infobox anwähle: "Original SRP", dann sehe ich tatsächlich die IP-Infos. Allerdings keine Infobox zuvor, was aber nicht so tragisch wäre.

Ich hab die Einstellung trotzdem wieder geändert, weil mir einerseits die S-EPG-Box besser gefällt und außerdem in dieser Einstellung die S-EPG-Uhr nicht mehr angezeigt wird.

Nun ja, ein allzu großes Problem ist es nicht; zumindest, wenn die korrekten Infos der Aufnahme zugeordnet sind.

Hallo, Klaus.

Das hab ich gerade im S-EPG-Bereich gelesen und ausprobiert.

Zuerst hatte ich aber Netzwerkprobleme, in deren Verlauf der Topf einen Reboot machte.
Als das mit dem Netzwerk dann wieder klappte, hab ich die XStart-Ini geändert.

Noch vor einem Neustart hab ich aber noch die Einstellungen im IP-Menü gemacht (wie von Sirius beschrieben: Aktivierung mit 2. Tastendruck).

Dann hab ich - ohne Neustart, also ohne geänderte Startreihenfolge (nämlich IP VOR S-EPG, siehe Sig) einen Test gemacht - und jetzt funktioniert's.



Naja, muss ich mal beobachten.

As you can see: there is an enumeration list in the info.

The list is gone to flowing text.

Is there any chance to fix this?

What version of INFplus are you using? There was a formatting bug fix in a recent version.

If you are on the most recent version (1.1a), then I will need a copy of the INF+ file to be able to troubleshoot the problem.

Finding the INF+ file will depend on your technical skills. If you know how to use the command line use "ls -laFi" to find the inode of the recording's INF file.

If you are not super-technical, you can enable detailed logging and use INFplus to display the information shown in your screen prints. Copy the log file /ProgramFiles/Settings/INFplus/Logs/INFplus.log to a PC using FTP and use a text editor to find the inode of the recording in question. Don’t forget to disable logging again.

Use the inode number to look in /ProgramFiles/Settings/INFplus to find the matching INF+ file. For example, if the inode is "1234", then the file I need will be "/ProgramFiles/Settings/INFplus/0000001234.INF+".

Another method would be to use "Prepare for Archive" and send me the "INF" file.
