I try to connect my Lap to 5500 Pvr with Altair. I have installed the bulk put the left side stays gray as I´m not connected.

The Topfield driver tfbulk.sys is not designed for Vista driver architecture, so altair and the other programs using USB interface won't run. Have a look at this thread for a solution.

Thank you all for your response.
The thing was in the end that I missed checking the USB driver (not Bulk) and after having adjusted that it works fine...........even under the May 22 software
