Und das Thema Update innerhalb der Bedienungsanleitung würde ich einen separaten Punkt geben. Zwar steht da

Aktualisierungen des TAPs im „Auto Start” -Ordner können problemlos überkopiert werden.
Anschließend ist der Receiver einmal auszuschalten. Er kann dann nach kurzer Pause (z.B. 5 Sek.)
wieder eingeschaltet werden.

Habe grade die aktuelle Version 2.2 installiert, aber es wird immer noch meine alte Version angezeigt (2.1RC15e).

Was mache ich falsch?

We seem to have a bug relating to Improbox (latest version) and our recent UK firmware(s).
The scenario is this:
With Timeslip set to on, watch a programme a few minutes behind "live" i.e. chaseplay. Select a different channel and the Toppy crashes. Here are two UK forum links where people have discussed the problem:

It seems if Timeslip is NOT enabled then the problem does not occur - this is the case with me

Does it crash indepentend of the timeshift warning?
I mean, will it also crash, if you disable the timeshift warning in ImproBox?

Does it matter how you change the channel? By Number Key, by a different TAP, etc.?
Will the channel be changed before the crash?

Does it only happens if Timeshift is enabled and doesn't happen if you "timeshift" only by "Pause"-Key without permanent Timeshift?

Could you do some tests within next week?

1. If Timeslip is OFF then no problem.
2. If Timeslip is ON and Improbox Option 14 = Off then no problem.
3. If Timeslip is ON and Improbox Option 14 = Timeslip then crash if channel is changed when for example chaseplaying a recording (a message is displayed as well)
In (3) if you are not watching channel being recorded at first and go back to it later and chaseplay then there is no problem. I haven't tried other settings for Improbox Option 14.

This is strange...
As far as I understand, the Warning-Message still appears and if you than hit the key again, it crashes?
As far as I understand the posts in the UK-Board, it should also crash, if a different TAP changes the channel. In this case, Option 14 doesn't matter?!

Does it crash before or after the message disappears if you hit the key again?
Does the receiver changes the channel befort crashing?
What happens if you hit the "Archiv" Key during timeshift (with activated option 14) instead of changing a channel? This will also display the message, but will it also crash the Receiver?

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, improbox nach Ablauf der Testperiode irgendwie weiterzunutzen?
Ich habe vor 1 Woche einen neuen Freischaltcode (wegen Festplattenwechsel) beantragt, aber da Gerti Urlaub hat, kann das ja noch dauern ...
Und ich habe nur noch 3 Starts frei.

Ja. Das File "improbox\licence.key" löschen.

Aber das geht nur mit einem TAP.
Altair macht das nicht und Filer auch nicht (mehr). Evtl. kannst Du es noch mit Filer v1.20 löschen.

Ne, das geht auch noch anders.
Es ist dann zwar bei jedem Start etwas Handarbeit an der Fernbedienung nötig, funktioniert aber.
Darf ich sowas hier beschreiben, wie das geht?
Immerhin ist das ein Bug in Improbox, der durch einen Bedienfehler Auftritt und kein Hack.

Es gibt auch Leute, die meinen das mir das Bild mehr ähnlich sieht als das Foto.
Kann natürlich sein, da dieses Bild im Gegensatz zum Foto nicht gestellt ist.
Ich weiß nur nicht, wie das Leute beurteilen können die mich noch nie live gehen haben.
