SRP-2401CI+ Certificate Error

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my SRP-2401CI+.
It has worked fine for several years with an old CI module and a card.
Recently, I have bought a new CI+ module (with a card). That is Viaccess module Ver. 1.2 for NTV+ (Russian TV). When I install it in the receiver, I get a message “Step 1: Certification starts.” No further information except “Service is not running or scrambled”.

I have tested all the firmware versions... Nothing new.
CI+ info:
Host ID: N/A
Certificate Status: Fail

What can be wrong and how can I resolve this issue?

Would you tell us which CI+ module you want to use? Because the "Step 1" message is from the CI+ module, not from the receiver.
In the Firmware download folder for the receiver there are several versions available. I remember that with some modules, they only worked correctly with certain firmware versions, not always the newest, and not always the same.

Sadly I don't know any further "magic" to help you. As far as I know, the "certifictation starts" message would come from the CI+ module. So you might try to contact the company responsible for those modules to ask if there is a known problem, either incompatibility with certain receivers (though CI+ claims that there should be no such thing, as the Topfield is a certified receiver) or a general problem with some CIs, or that the card doesn't fit to the module.
Further tests might be: The card is inserted correctly? With some modules, they have to be inserted "face down", with others "face up". Can you check the CI+ module at another receiver or TV set (maybe at a friend)? Does the CI+ module initialize without a card?

The CI+ module does not initialize without a card. Still, there is no ID Host information.

This firmware is from march 2015, but I don't believe, that it will solve your issue.
